To All Veterans, Thank You!

EXAIR is fortunate to have a good number of veterans working here. It is easy to forget that these folks spent significant time training and educating themselves to defend our country as you pass by them in the hall or discuss another compressed air related topic. But today is the day we make sure to recognize them and thank them (and ALL other USA veterans) and make sure they know we appreciate their service.

Our HR folks have, thanked them, we have this blog to thank them, and many of us will also be sure to thank them face to face as we pass them in the hall or discuss compressed air.

The reason we celebrate Veterans Day on November 11 is because this is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918.Originally called Armistice Day, it was changed to Veterans Day in 1938. This is a day we should all celebrate the soldiers who are still alive and served in the forces at anytime, during peace or war.

So…Thank you to all who have served in the United States Armed Forces and helped to defend our country. EXAIR appreciates your service. We hope you all have a decent day today and receive some recognition face to face.

Respectfully,
The EXAIR Employees
