How to Repair Your Atomizing Nozzle: RBK50 Repair Kit

In this video, I am going to show you how to install the repair kit, model RBK50, into the EXAIR ½” NPT standard Atomizing Nozzle.  The repair kit will come with two gaskets and two o-rings, and in this video, I will show you how to find and replace them.

If you have any questions about this process, you can contact an Application Engineer at EXAIR. We will be happy to assist you.  Thank you for watching.

PowerStream Liquid Atomizing Spray Nozzle

The EXAIR PowerStream Liquid Atomizing Nozzle delivers reliable, uniform liquid distribution for a variety of industrial use applications. Ideal for cooling, rinsing, washing, and dust control applications, this nozzle features a clog-resistant design with a variety of flow rates for a wide range of industrial needs.

Currently, this is only offered as the 1/8 NPT with 5 flow rates. The PowerStream nozzles provide a superior spraying solution for an extensive range of industrial processes. These processes include, but are not limited to, cooling, rinsing, washing, coating, and dust control. Designed to provide a uniform, deflected flat fan spray pattern, this nozzle ensures efficient liquid distribution that is consistent across the full width of spray. Its clog-resistant design makes it a perfect choice for environments dealing with particulates or potentially viscous fluids. Available in stainless steel, the PowerStream nozzle supports a variety of flow rates, allowing for flexible integration into existing systems, or for use in newly designed builds. Whether you need precise spray control or effective dust suppression, the PowerStream nozzle from EXAIR is engineered to meet your requirements with exceptional performance, repeatability and durability.
Available from stock and ready to ship the same day, EXAIR PowerStream nozzles are available with 1/8 NPT thread and are suitable for use up to 250 PSI liquid pressure.

If you have a process where you need to reduce the amount of liquid to save money, EXAIR offers a line of Liquid Atomizing Nozzles as well as Air Atomizing Nozzles.  The design is to reduce the droplet size to increase coverage.  Here is a blog with the Air Atomizing Nozzles for improving Gummy Candy Production.  In either case, if you have questions about how we can reduce costs and improve processes, you can contact an Application Engineer.  We will be happy to help you.

EXAIR’s HollowStream™ Nozzles

At EXAIR we are known for our intelligent compressed air products. We’ve written many blogs on the benefits of our quiet and efficient compressed air products. We also have a handful of products that don’t use compressed air. Our  HollowStream™ Cone Liquid Nozzle is one such product.

As the name would suggest, the HollowStream™ Cone Liquid Nozzles produce a cone of liquid, creating a ring around the target. This will reduce the liquid usage as compared to a full spray pattern, like our OmniStream™ Cone Liquid Nozzles.  The HollowStream™ are available in NPT female threads in 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ sizes with a variety of liquid flow rates.

They produce droplets by spinning the liquid and breaking its surface tension through a precise orifice. Compared to our Air Atomizing Spray Nozzles, these nozzles generate more liquid volume and produce a coarser spray pattern. They can achieve flow rates ranging from 0.06 GPM and up to 14.00 GPM.

Spray Dimensions and Pattern

They are all made of 303 stainless steel, and their vane-less design will help to resist clogging.  They can handle 250 PSIG of liquid pressure and operate at temperatures up to 800°F.  Some common applications would include cooling, cleaning, washing, rinsing and dust suppression.

If you would like to discuss your spray application, and how EXAIR’s products can save you money, then give us a call!
