Just introduced into the market is EXAIR‘s New TurboBlast Safety Air Gun. Using EXAIR’s largest Super Air Nozzles, the TurboBlast Safety Air Gun delivers the most powerful force of any gun with a comfortable easy-to-use handle.
Models are available with an adjustable gate valve that allows for easy adjustments to the air consumption and force with a simple turn of the adjustment valve. All models are available with or without the gate valve and with 1′ (included on base models), 3′, or 6′ extensions. They also come with an installed nozzle guard to protect the nozzle fins from damage should the gun ever be dropped by operators.

Over the years you may have read blog posts regarding the EXAIR Safety Air Guns. You can find the blogs here, here and here. Today, I want to review a few available options for the Safety Air Guns.
Protect Workers From Flying Debris! – Chip Shields are durable polycarbonate shields that protect the operator from flying debris often seen when blowing off chips from machined parts. They are also useful to prevent coolant from splashing back, creating a mess during drying processes.
The Chip Shields are available for EXAIR’s VariBlast, Soft Grip, and Heavy Duty Safety Air Guns. The Chip Shield can be used on Safety Air Guns with or without an aluminum extension. They may be purchased as part of a new air gun system, or retrofitted as a Chip Shield Kit. Consult an Application Engineer for selection assistance.
If you have a blow-off process where the air is to be directed at a distance away from the operator, or into a hard to reach location an extension is the solution. Available in lengths from 6″ (152mm) to 72″ (1829mm), with sizes as shown below, a length to meet most any requirement can be found. To add an extension to an air gun, simply add -xx to the current part number.
And, if you need a 12′ coiled air hose, to use with your Safety Air Gun, we have them available and in stock. Available with 1/8 NPT, 1/4 NPT or 3/8 NPT male end swivel connections. Avoid tangled and messy air lines and keep things neat!

Have you ever dipped your hand into a warm bath of paraffin wax? You can feel your hand relaxing. Well, this is not at all how the Soft Grip Super Air Scraper makes your hands feel. But the Soft Grip handle is very comfortable and does feel better than any other option on the market.
The Soft Grip handle is ideal for continuous use without causing fatigue. The design keeps your hand in a comfortable position and the large trigger allows an easy pull with one finger or all of them. This is built to endure the toughest industrial environments, and it even comes with a convenient hangar hook for easy storage.
Once we get past the comfortable handle, we move down to the purpose. The Air Scraper portion will assist in removing some of the toughest debris found in industrial facilities. The patented design uses the scraping blade along with powerful compressed air flow. This is perfect for any of those sticky substances like caulk, sealants, gaskets, adhesives, tape, paint stickers, labels, grease, lubricants, and so much more. This will help you keep your machining tables, and assembly stations clean and functional.
The scraper is made of corrosion resistant steel and is attached to a 2″ Super Air Nozzle. It is very formidable to provide the strength necessary for the toughest scenarios. This comes with a 3/4″ extension for those close up needs, but we offer extensions for this from 6″ to 72″ long so that you can reach table tops, walls, inside machines, and floors.
