EXAIR VariBlast Safety Air Gun

Air guns can be found in nearly any industrial facility that has a compressed air system within it.  From the maintenance department to the production floor, operators potentially use these for anything from, cleaning up work areas,  to blowing product out of a troubled spot in a process. Handheld blowoffs are often overlooked as a means to increase efficiency yet they are often observed as a means to increase safety.

When evaluating efficiency the length of use for a handheld blowoff is often variable from operator to operator as well as changes even from each use.  Often, operators have several different uses throughout their day that require different levels of force needed to complete the job.  Most safety air guns don’t offer a variable force.  This means operators are full-force for all applications. This means full air consumption whenever that gun is used. EXAIR’s VariBlast Compact Safety Air Gun can help to give operators the adjustability they need.

The VariBlast Compact Safet Air Gun is available from stock with over a dozen options of different Super Air Nozzles as the end defector of the Safety Air Gun.  These are any nozzle up to a 1/8″ NPT thread size.  To couple with these engineered nozzles, we offer stock length extensions up to 72″ (1829 mm)  in length. This makes many applications that are hard to reach easily managed by the operators.

A Good Example of Dedication and Commitment from the First Grade

This year, my oldest daughter started First Grade.  My second daughter will be starting preschool two days a week, and the youngest, well she just has no fear and doesn’t see the consequences of her actions at this point in life.   To say the least, the past few weeks have been extremely busy, as I am sure it has been for most of us.

I went to the parent – teacher introduction night with my beautiful wife and we got to meet the first grade teacher who definitely has her work cut out for her.   The amount of effort and care this teacher has poured into this class is already apparent in the first week of school.   She sent us all her personal cell phone number, sends out updates through a smartphone app, and has even told all parents that if a child in her classroom is involved in an activity outside of school that she will attend one of these events because she wants to see the children in their element and see what makes them happy.  All of these “extra” things the teacher does, she doesn’t get paid for, and is strictly doing out of her love for teaching and the children she teaches.  She legitimately loves her job and wants to see each of these students succeed in life.

There are people who teach that go to their job and give the bare minimum to not get let go and to merely collect a paycheck.   There are also a great number of educators that go above and beyond every day of the school year.  When it comes to teachers, so far my oldest daughter has been extremely blessed.  She had an amazing teacher for both Preschool, Kindergarten, and now even First Grade.   Each of these has also been at 3 different schools where she has thrived and I could not be happier with our school district.  I even mentioned to my wife, who is a former primary teacher, that I do not look forward to the year that one of our three daughters has a teacher that she does not agree with.  (That is going to be an extremely long year.)

Just as I noticed the level of dedication from the teachers I have had the joy of meeting, I have also realized that in order to succeed and thrive, there has to be dedication and going beyond the minimum.  This is what I see everyday when I walk through the doors here at EXAIR.  Whether I am walking through the front offices or the production areas, we by no means have a single team member that gives the minimum.  Every person here cares about whether or not the other succeeds, and we all work together with the same goal, blow our customer’s expectations out of the water.  This is just one reason we continue to release new products, offer the best means to contact us, as well as ship stock products same day, and provide order confirmations and install support for every single order.

EXAIR’s 2015 Year End Review!

In case you were too busy to notice, it’s 2016!  With the start of the new year I would like to review just a few milestones EXAIR reached which will help continue to serve our customers and provide solutions to manufacturing problems. The year was extremely busy for us and so far, 2016 is looking to be even better.

Throughout the course of the last year EXAIR has released hundreds of new products. We continue to increase our Atomizing Spray Nozzle product line and we received the official patent on our No Drip Atomizing Spray Nozzles. The No Drip versions of our spray nozzles have a patented design which helps conserve precious liquids, including water, while also preventing drips which could affect your product finish.

Our new line of Back Blow nozzles have been created to clean the inside of pipe, tube, hose, channel or shafts and prevent the operator from pushing debris further inside by directing the airflow and debris back out toward the nearest end. We have also outfitted our air guns with these nozzles to provide an easy to activate and ergonomic solution. EXAIR also expanded our swivel fitting, air operated conveyor, industrial housekeeping and Cabinet Cooler product lines. See our website for more information on these products. These new stock products ship same day on orders received by 3 PM EST for orders within the United States.

Custom products helped solve problems for hundreds of customers with manufacturing solutions that just didn’t quite fit the bill of our off the shelf products. Since we are a manufacturer (located in Cincinnati, OH) we have the ability to modify stock products, create custom solutions, provide timely information and fast lead times for special products. We blog about specials a lot and we continue to help customers with custom fit products that will surpass their expectations.

With all of the new products and customs, we continued to achieve higher levels of shipping accuracy.  We now have a 20 year streak of shipping complete, on time, correct orders if over 99.9%! There are not many companies that I deal with on a personal level or through EXAIR which can claim their accuracy is this high.

When we weren’t shipping orders or helping customers with custom solutions we also managed to post more than 1 blog per business day, I don’t even want to count the thousands of other Social Media posts we have done, and released numerous videos of tips and tricks for many of our products.

The message I am trying to get across is that we press forward here at EXAIR.  We are constantly making moves and trying to ensure that we offer our customers every item they may need, in a timely manner, correctly, of high quality, and easy to do business with.

That is the only way that we can continue to be the best company for Intelligent Compressed Air Products!
